Ram Charan gives nod to Sampath's film

Ram Charan's third film, Merupu , that was launched last year, has been put off. Source told us that producer N V Prasad has decided to go with another director instead of Tamil director Dharani. After much dilly-dallying N V Prasad has taken young director Sampath Nandi to Ram Charan to narrate a story and the director of Emaindi Ee Vela reportedly impressed the star very much. So, this movie is all set to go to the sets in the place of Dharani's Merupu.

It should be remember that Dharani came up with a storyline that is too massy and it requires huge budget. But Ram Charan's father Chiranjeevi is not in favour of such risky movies. So the project has been dropped off.

Sampath Nandi is now giving final touches to his script.

RGV sends legal notices to TV9

TV9, a Telugu news channel has aired a program titled Ram Dhamaal Varma, focusing on RGV’s latest release KSD Appalraju. The program is made on criticizing Varma with few baseless and unlawful accusations. RGV, who has noticed the program, has sent legal notices to TV9 for telecasting such defamatory programme. Varma has released a press statement about the legal proceedings against TV9. "With regard to an extremely derogatory programme done by TV 9 on me titled ‘Ram Dhamaal Varma’ where they have attributed many false quotes to me, of which one example is ‘prekshakulu verri vedhavalu’, I am hereby informing that I am initiating criminal action against TV 9 for defamation with a criminal intent."

Mumaith Khan to produce Puri Jagannadh's directorial

Mumaith Khan, who sizzled on big screens with many item numbers, will soon launch a production house. Yes, the actress is all set to produce a film which will be directed by Puri Jagannath.

It is noteworthy to mention that Mumaith was shot to fame with a chartbusting number, Ippatikinka Naa Vayasu… from Puri Jagannadh’s directorial Pokiri. Though Mumaith is not being seen in any films these days, she will surely have a place in Puri’s films. The dashing director’s forthcoming release Nenu Naa Rakshasi is a prime example for this.

Now, Puri seems to have given her enough confidence to take up the challenging role of a producer.

Ravi Teja’s upcoming movies in 2011

After his latest success Mirapakaya, Crazy Star Ravi Teja is going great guns with many projects in the pipeline. He is currently busy at Rajahmundry with the shoot of his forthcoming film Veera with Kajal Agarwal and Tapsee in the female leads.

Ravi Teja also has signed four more projects if sources are to be believed. He has signed up a film Nippu with Gunasekhar which will move onto floors soon. This Mass Raja has given his nod for director Harish Shankar for a film titled Subrahmanyam For Sale. Ravi Teja will also be seen in Rameshvarma’s Vaadu Veedu and in Body Guard remake with director Siddique.

Meanwhile, the actor’s Dongala Mutha under Ram Gopal Varma’s direction is reaching the big-screens on 18^th March. Well, Ravi Teja’s diary seems to be full for the year 2011. Great going… Crazy Star!!!

Sunil’s next flick titled Napolean

Sunil’s next film in the lead role has been titled as Napolean and the movie is gearing up to hit the floors in the second week of March. The actor is all set to romance Deeksha Seth in Napolean. Though his recent release Katha, Screenplay, Darsakatvam, Appalraju resulted as a failure at the Box-office, his performance and dance sequences were appreciated by the critics.

Napolean will be made in the backdrop of Rajasthan. A new director Koti, who worked as co-director to Rajamouli is debuting as director with this film. Ganesh Indukuri will produce the film under the banner Sanvi Productions. Other details of the cast and crew of the film are awaited.

Allu Arjun, Selva come togther for 50cr budget film

Director Selva Raghavan, who is known for his distinct film-making has joined hands with Stylish Star Allu Arjun for the next film. The budget of this project is said to be 50 Crores and a leading producer in Tollywood will produce this most expensive film in tri-lingual versions.

The film will move to the floors, once Selvaraghavan wraps up his undershoot directorial with Kamal Haasan. Meanwhile Allu Arjun will quickly complete his Badrinath in V.V.Vinayak’s direction which is touted as another big-budget film with fantasy elements.

Deepika Padukone's Item Song in Pawan Kalyan’s Teen Maar!!!!

If sources are to be believed, Bollywood’s top league heroine Deepika Padukone will grace in Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming film Teenmaar. She has been roped in for a rocking item number in the film.

The unit has completed filming the entire talkie part except three songs. Teenmaar is taking shape in the hands of Jayant C Paranjee. Sources say Jayant who had good relations with Deepika has convinced her in doing this special number in Teenmaar. Trisha and Kirti Kharbanda are playing the female leads in the film and Ganeshbabu is producing it on the banner of Parameswara Arts.

Allu Arjun's marriage with Sneha Reddy is going to be a grand affair and who of cinema and political fields are expected to attend it. Aamir Khan, who did Ghajini under Geetha Arts banner is a good friend of Allu Arvind has promised to be present at the wedding.

Wedding of Allu Arjun – Sneha Reddy is on March 6th. Aamir Khan will be in Hyderabad on March 5 and will stay in Hotel Taj Krishna. Tamil superstars Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Malayalam and Kannada stars are also expected to be present to bless the newly wedded couple.

Sonakshi Sinha in Kamal Haasan Movie!

The latest update of Kamal Hassan, Selvaraghavan’s untitled movie. Early to this we heard that the diva of Kollywood and Tollywood Anushka is pairing with Kamal but now reports claim that she has been replaced by young beauty of Bollywood.

The leading lady of Bollywood Sonakshi Sinha is likely to be Kamal’s on screen partner in this film as reported by a leading newspaper. Selvaraghavan was inspired by the film Hannibal directed by Ridley Scott's, which was released in 2001. This film is the sequel of The Silence of the Lambs. Interestingly Kamal plays the role of a serial killer played by Anthony Hopkins. The role of a FBI Agent made memorable by Julianne Moore will be played by Sonakshi Sinha.

Selvaraghavan will be narrating the story once Sonakshi Sinha is back from the shoot of Joker in Chandigarh. This film will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions. But when Selvaraghavan was contacted on this issue “He said I will be revealing the details of my film officially in a week’s time as anything was not yet finalized.”

Shruti Haasan in Nitya Menon Out!

It is known that Dil Raju has planned a film with Siddharth in the lead role with a title O My Friend. Initially, Amrita Rao has been roped in as the female lead role in the film but the lady walked away as she was not satisfied with the new cost-cutting measures and rules suggested by the Tollywood producers council.

Later, Nitya Menon has been considered for the role. However, the actress has been now replaced by Shruti Haasan. Siddharth and Shruti have already paired up for Anaganaga O Dheerudu. Though the film failed to score success at the Box-Office, the chemistry between the lead pair was appreciated. O My Friend will be directed by a debutant Venu Sriram.

Pawan brings back the forgotten talents

Insiders in film circles always appreciate Pawan Kalyan for spotting the talents and picking them in random. Chiranjeevi used to do this kind of eyeing on industry talents and now Pawan Kalyan is following the same. 'Teen Maar' marks a comeback of two big names back into business and they are director Jayant C Paranji and versatile artist Paresh Rawal.

After the debacle of Balakrishna's 'Allari Pidugu', director Jayant went into darkness for five years until rediscovered by Power Star for 'Teen Maar'. Most popular and well recognized actor Paresh Rawal was also away from Telugu movies after 'Shankardada MBBS' and Pawan Kalyan personally intimated him to arrive in Hyderabad and start working for his Telugu film. Paresh Rawal plays the character of Rishi Kapoor in 'Love Aaj Kal' which is pivotal for entire movie. Let us wish that Jayant C Paranji and Paresh Rawal get busy again with the success of 'Teen Maar'.

Ileana threw Rana into trash bin

He was desperate for her. He spent crores of rupees to impress her. He even helped her financially opening the boutique in one of the costly areas of Hyderabad. No more clues needed as 'He' implies to Rana and 'Her' implies to Ileana in the context. Though it may not be a surprise that Rana has done more than needful for Ileana fostering their relation, final result is that she is no more the tall man's girl.

It is heard that once Ileana managed to launch the outlet, she went out of reach from the coverage area of Rana. It was 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' that brought them close to each other and dismal result for Rana is neither the movie released nor Ileana fell into his net. Strong gossip in film circles is that Ileana for now is worried more about reconstructing her career with 'Shakti' because hopes of her comeback with 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' are almost crashed.

Instead of getting more into the bad books of gossip mongers by remaining close to Rana, Ileana appears to have preferred to stay close to 'Shakti' for a while. Forget about catching the Ileana personally outside, it has become a big task for Rana even to get her on mobile or SMS. Daggubati hero’s plan to find the first girl friend backfired and Ileana literally has thrown him into trash bin after using him for personal benefits.
