Siddharth's 180 Set For Summer Release

Siddharth is currently busy in wrapping up the shooting of his forthcoming project titled 180. 180 is a bilingual flick being shot in Telugu and Tamil versions.

Being directed by famous ad filmmaker Jayendra, 180 is touted as a different triangular love story. The movie was earlier shot in the exotic locales of USA and Malaysia. Right now, the final schedule of shoot is being carried out.

Priya Anand and Nithya Menon are playing the roles of Siddharth’s love interest in the film. Cinematographer K.T. Bala Subramaniam captured the visual effects by using Red camera, which are going to be eye-catching. Sharath is debuting as music composer with 180. The film is jointly produced by SPI Cinemas and Aghal Films.

Pawan Kalyan, Vishnuvardan film to hit the floors from March

It is known that Pawan Kalyan has signed a film under the kollywood director Vishnuvardhan. Now, the movie is all set to move to floors from the month of March. Sanghamitra Arts and Arca Media Works will jointly produce this film.
The producers of the film, Shobu and Neelima released a press note which says, “The script has already been finalized for the film, which is going to be stylish action entertainer and it has two heroines. A newcomer has already been selected as one of the heroine."
The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, dialogues by Abburi Ravi and cinematography by PS Vinod.

Amrita Rao walks out of O My Friend

Dil Raju has roped in Athidi fame Amrita Rao for his new film titled O MY Friend opposite Siddharth. However, the actress who gave her initial nod for the film has now walked out of the project.
The reason behind this is, the new measures taken by the producer’s council. As per the new cost-cutting measures, actresses will not be provided either 5 Star hotel accommodation or any other luxuries. Though Amrita has liked the storyline and concept of O My Friend, the actress declined the offer saying she couldn’t work without such luxury facilities. Dil Raju is again, in search of a new lady for the film.

Nara Rohit new film to hit the floors from Feb 13th

Nara Rohit, who has debuted in tollywood with critically acclaimed film Banam took a brief gap and is getting back to his profession with a new film, under the direction of Parasuram. Parasuram has earlier directed Yuvatha with Nikhi and Anjaneyulu with Ravi Teja.
The new film is all set to hit the floors from 13th February. A new producer Vamsi Krishna will produce this film under the banner S. V. K Productions. A new lady is being roped in for the female lead in the film. The movie is touted as a full-fledged commercial entertainer.

Wedding bells for actress Navneet Kaur

Actress Navneet Kaur is all set to enter wed-lock on 2nd February with Maharashtra MLA Ravi Rana. The marriage is love cum arranged one with the consent of elders. The wedding is a mass marriage ceremony along with 2,834 other couples, which is going to be done on a grand scale.
Navneet has tested her luck in south Indian film industry as heroine but luck did not favor this Punjabi lady. So, she finally decided to quit films and enter wed-lock with her love interest.

Rajini’s triple role for Rana, Deeepika Padukone as heroine!

South Indian Super Star Rajini Kanth is all set to act in triple role for his forthcoming project titled as Rana under the direction of K. S. Ravikumar. Considering Rajini’s fans all over, Rana is being made as tri-lingual flick in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions.
The film will start rolling the camera in the month of March. Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone is sharing the screen space with Rajini in this film. The film is jointly produced by Ocher studios and Eros International.
AR Rahman is scoring the music for this film.  The technical aspects & special effects are handled by Soundarya Rajinikanth and Charles Darby of Eyeqube Studios. Anthony is incharge of editing, while Ratnavelu is working as cinematographer. Rajeevan is taking caring of art direction.
Rana will be releasing early in 2012.

Shruti Haasan pairs up with Mahesh babu

The hot and happening actress of Tollywood, Shruti Haasan will soon be pairing opposite prince Mahesh Babu in his next flick The Business Man, with the tagline Guns Don’t Need Agreement. Shruti, who recently debuted in Tollywood with Anaganga O Dheerudu earned her enough fans across A.P, for her looks and performance.
Director Puri Jagannadh has approached Shruti for the film The Business Man and Shruti is said to have given her nod for the film. The movie is being produced by Venkat under R.R. Movie Makers banner.
The Business Man is all set to hit the floors from the month of May.

Nagarjuna starrer Rajanna under shoot

King Nagarjuna forthcoming project Rajanna is currently undergoing its shoot in and around Hyderabad. Rajanna is taking shape in the hands of veteran director Vijayendra Prasad, which is being made on the backdrop of Telangana Razakar Movement in the pre-independence days.
Nag will be seen in the title role of the film and he will be speaking Telangana slang as reinforcement to the pre-independence backdrop. Sneha is pairing up with Nagarjuna in the film and Nag himself is producing the film under his home banner Annapurna Studios.
The film-makers are planning to release Rajanna for this summer.

Remake of ‘3 Idiots’ under progress



Remake of ‘3 Idiots’ silently rolls on. Director Shankar has begun the film’s shooting last week in Ooty in Tamilnadu. From Saturday, shooting begins in Kodaikanal. As Surya adjusted his dates, the film silently has begun shooting. From Jan 30, Ileana will join the shoot.

Gemini Film Circuit is producing it in Telugu and Tamil with the same star cast. Shankar wanted to shoot both the versions differently with two different lead stars (Mahesh in Telugu and Vijay in Tamil) but it didn’t work out. So Surya stepped in and the star could convince Murugadoss to adjust his dates for this film. Thus the film went to the sets.

Haaris Jayaraj is providing the music, while Abburi Ravi is providing dialogue for Telugu version. Manoj Paramahamsa (of Ye Maaya Chesave fame) is the cinematographer.

Devi Sri Prasad to score music for Gabbar Singh

Dabangg was a super hit movie of 2010 in Bollywood. The movie’s music played an important role in its success.

Munni Badnaam Huee song topped charts and became a smash hit. Salman Khan’s favorite directors Sajid- Wajid scored music for Dabangg.

Mamata Sharma the playback singer of the song got awards. Background score by Sandeep Shirodkar too got appreciation.

Pawan Kalyan is making the movie in Telugu as Gabbar Singh. Mirapakay fame Harish Shankar is director. Kajal Agarwal will play the female lead.

Pawan Kalyan – Devi Sri Prasad combination for Jalsa movie worked wonders with peppy songs. It is a real challenge for Devi Sri to match the original music who is likely score music for the film.

Charmi’s Mangala releasing in Feb

Charmi’s forthcoming flick Mangala has completed its entire shooting part and is currently undergoing its graphics works. Being directed by Osho Tulasiram of Mantra fame and being produced by Osho Tulasiram and C H V Sharma jointly under the banner Mantra Entertainments, Vishwa has scored the music for the film.
The film-makers say that Mangala will also thrill the audiences like ‘Mantra’ and Charmi’s acting will be the main attraction in the film along with Vishwa’s music. Graphics play much importance in the film. Mangala is gearing up for its release in February.
