She pairs up with Pawan Kalyan for the first time in his next film titled Gabbar Singh , remake of Dabangg . She is penciled in to do the role originally done by Sonakshi Sinha (in Dabangg ).
Salman looked young when he paired up with vivacious Sonakshi and their pair scorched the screen with their right chemistry. So Pawan, who is also producer for this film, felt that Kajal and his pairing would look fresh like Salman and Sonakshi's.
