Rakta Charitra' Rocking US In Both Forms

Finally, Ram Gopal Varma has done it. The much longed hit from his camp has struck and this is in the form of his latest offering ‘Rakta Charitra’. Interestingly, the response for the film in both Telugu and Hindi versions have been excellent and that too from the overseas audience.

It has been a general trend that action and violent films don’t open well in the US market but this film has beaten that jinx. Reports say that ‘Rakta Charitra’ in both version has amassed a solid $ 2,12,000. The film was released in a total of 34 screens across the American cities.
It is heard that the Telugu version alone reported a collection of $ 1,50,000 while the Hindi version has managed to get $ 62000. Despite the family treat like ‘Brindaavanam’ attracting many NRI families, the achievement of ‘Rakta Charitra’ comes as a breakthrough.
