Aishwarya Rai celebrating her birthday today!

The beauty is timeless and her demeanor elegant than ever before. Being one of the most beautiful women in the world, she is the global actress and a celebrity brand to think with. The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai celebrates her birthday on Nov. 1.
Aishwarya born on 1st November, 1973 in Mangalore to Krishnaraj Rai and Vrinda Rai. She has one elder brother, Aditya Rai, who is an engineer in the merchant navy. She started her career as a model and after being crowned as Miss World in 1994 she gained lots of fame. She had been the first woman in India whose wax Statue had been made in Madam Tussadd’s Museum in London, UK.
The actress made her debut in Tamil and later on kicked off to Bollywood. The actress so far acted in over 40 films in Hindi, English, Tamil and Bengali, which also include international productions.
There is a limited life span in the glamour industry. But that’s certainly not the case with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Even after her marriage she is going strong in movies and commercials too. From Miss World to Mrs. Bachchan, Aishwarya had an exciting journey and a dreamy life.
Aishwarya Rai is celebrating her 37th birthday today and this is going to be her third birthday with Abhishek Bachchan.
Aishwarya Rai says “I am busy promoting my films. `Action Replayy` is releasing on Nov 5 so lots of intense work every day. I have kept aside time on my birthday as always I spend it with my family, and how the day will roll I have no idea,”
Professionally the year has been a good one for the dove-eyed former Miss World as her film ‘ Robo’was well appreciated and did a great business. Aishwarya Rai has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline, including Action Replay with Akshay Kumar and Guzaarish with Hrithik Roshan.

‘Villan’ cinematography nominated for Asia Pacific Screen Awards

Villan cameramen Santosh Sivan and V. Manikandan together nominated for Best Cinematography Award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, which will be held in Australia on December 2nd.
India had received three nominations, including three Marathi films for the fourth annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards. Though the film is disaster at the box office, Cinematography of Santosh Sivan and V. Manikandan was admired even by all the critics.
Marathi film Vihir, which is produced by Amitabh Bachchan was also competing in the same category with Villan
Queensland government, Australia initiated Asia Pacific Screen Awards in collaboration with UNESCO and International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations.

Shankar shares his feelings through a letter on success of ‘Robo’

Hi Everybody,
‘Robo’ film is in theatres now. I couldn’t be in touch with you guys for a long time since I was doing post production, release, theatre rounds and promotional activities till yesterday.
Thanks to everyone all over the world who enjoyed, supported and appreciated the film. Thanks to the press and all medias. I am very happy that the film is appreciated by the critics as well and was given 5 stars in many reviews and 4 – 5 in others. I am delighted with the box-office records south, north and all over the world.
Many stalwarts of the Indian film industry have congratulated me in person & over phone after watching the movie. It’s a wonderful feeling, Aamir Khan after watching the film invited me to his house, appreciated and discussed about the film till early morning with his wife Kiran and Director Rajkumar Hirani.
Hrithik Roshan called & shared his excitement after watching the film. Kamalhaasan congratulated by sending flowers to me with a beautiful message.
Kannada director & actor Upendra, Actor Prakasraj and lot of directors, actors and technicians called and conveyed their heartfull appreciation.
The most exciting appreciation came from Director K Balachander. He is one who is very successful more than 30 years as a film maker and he is my role model and my initial goal is to achieve atleast 15 years like him in this field. He sent me an appreciation letter which put me in an emotional high. I couldn’t control my tears after reading it. It made me humble & has given me the energy to work even harder. I am attaching his letter here with his permission.

‘Robo’ theatrical rights acquired for Rs. 27 crores!

It is well known that many controversial issues have been making rounds around the Rajinikanth’s ‘Robo’ theatrical rights. The latest reports say that sensational director V.V.Vinayak’s brother Surendra, along with a popular West Godavari distributor L.V.R have acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of Shankar’s ‘Robo’ for a bidding price of Rs. 27 crores which is said to be the highest price for a dubbing film. It is also heard that an amount of around Rs. 12 crore has already been paid as an advance to the Tamil producer.
Sources say that it is the first Indian film to be made with such a huge budget of nearly Rs. 190 crores. Think Music has already bought the audio rights of the film and Sun Pictures has bought the satellite rights.
Let’s wait and see how this film will make at the Tollywood box office competing with many hyped films like ‘Komaram Puli’, ‘Mahesh Khaleja’, ‘Brindavanam’ etc.

Rajini’s ‘Robo’ rights in controversy!

Yesterday it is said that producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao has acquired Rajinikanth’s Robo’ dubbing rights for highest price of Rs 30 crores that was ever happened for any movie in India. It is also heard that he is going to release the movie in AP through his Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films banner.
But now, with the statement made by Sun TV pictures CEO Hansaraj Saxena yesterday as that Robo rights are unsold, there created terror amongst Chadalavada Srinivas Rao who said to be acquired the rights.
On reacting to this statement, he has showed a proof of letter that was given by Sun Pictures itself by mentioning that he paid Rs. 2 crores as advance for getting Robo dubbing rights. Finally the latest statement made by the Sun Pictures is making controversial issue on Robo rights. Let’s see what happens after this and how Sun Pictures will react over Srinivas Rao’s statements.

‘Robo’ dubbing rights sold for 30 crores!

A few days back it is said that a neck threat competition is going on for acquiring the Telugu dubbing rights of Rajinikanth and Aishwarya starrer Shankar’s bilingual magnum opus ‘Robo’. The film producer Kalanidhi Maran has decided to get not less than Rs 30 crores for the rights of Telugu.
The latest amazing news is that producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao has acquired the rights for highest Price of Rs 30 crores that was ever happened for any movie in India. It is heard that he is going to release the movie in AP through his Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films banner.
Sources say that it is the famous producer Bellamkonda Suresh, who earlier distributed Rajini-Shankar’s Sivaji is said to have cited Rs 23 crores to buy the film rights but finally Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao has bought it for a whooping price of 30 crores that scared many tollywood producers. Now the dilemma among the movie buffs is that will he get back his money or not. Let’s hope for the best and wait for the moment.

Rajini’s ‘Robo’ music launch on Aug 6th!

Shankar – Rajini combo mega budget film ‘Robo’ will be having its official audio launch on August 6th in Hyderabad. It is already known that the Tamil version titled ‘Endhiran’ already had its music launch in a grand way in Malaysia, on July 31st.
The function will be attended by Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai and director Shankar.Music director AR Rahman is likely to participate in the event. The movie is produced by Sun Pictures. Already it was said that there is a huge competition for buying the movie rights and is yet be sold. Let’s wait and see who will buy it.

Sky-High demand for Rajini’s ‘Robo’ rights!

It looks like neck threat competition is going for the Telugu rights of Rajinikanth and Aishwarya starrer Shankar’s bilingual magnum opus ‘Robo’. The film producer Kalanidhi Maran has decided to get not less than Rs 30 crores for the rights of Telugu.
The famous producer Bellamkonda Suresh, who earlier distributed Rajini-Shankar’s Sivaji is said to have cited Rs 22 crores which is followed by another producer with Rs 23 crores. In an association of both the producers it is said to have quoted for Rs 26 crores. Inside sources say that at this point of amount it is expected to be settled in few days. Usually, Rajini-Aish-Shankar-AR Rahman combo will make all time business all over but this time for tollywood.
