Rajamouli to shoot Eega for 120 days

Ace director S S Rajamouli’s experimental flick Eega is currently progressing its shoot. The shooting part of the schedule will move on for 120 days. Eega will witness extra-ordinary visual effects as per the film-makers.

Eega is making enough buzz despite the fact that it does not have any glamour quotient or the commercial elements. Nani, Samantha and Sudeep are playing the key roles. The story is all about a housefly and its revenge and most proportion of the output depends on the cinematographer Senthil. The movie will be released in Telugu and Tamil versions. Eega is being presented by Suresh Babu and produced by Sai Korrapati.

Rajamouli’s Eega flying at brisk pace

Sensational director Rajamouli’s latest movie Eega is currently progressing at rapid pace in a specially erected set at Saradhi Studios in Hyderabad. While Nani is playing the protagonist role, Sudeep will be seen as an antagonist. Samantha is playing the key role in the movie.

Eega is a live action film with a housefly playing the title role and it is packed with loads of visual effects. Korrapati Sai is producing the movie under the banner Suresh Productions. The film has cinematography by James Flodes and music by M.M. Keeravani.

Whose market value is high: Ram Charan or Prabhas?

Selling of a high budget movie usually depends on strength of hero, worth of director and hard work put in by technical crew. Although many estimated the sure shot success of 'Magadheera',  but the cumulative effect of above three factors made it to stand on top of the Tollywood record books.

Now Rajamouli attempting the same kind of conquest with Rebel Star Prabhas is receiving a mixed opinion in trade circles. Scoring of success may not be big task for Rajamouli but range of success is what matters in these kinds of movies. First factor that decides fate of this reportedly highest budgeted flick in Tollywood will be the stamina and market value of Prabhas.

Ram Charan's name for 'Magadheera' was always tagged with the brand of a son of Mega Star which helped viewers run for theatres. Indeed it was second movie from Ram Charan that further boosted the revenue figures along with massive repeat audience from Mega Fans. Film analysts measure that more than stamp value of Rajamouli, it's the market value of Prabhas that will determine future of this risky flick.

Prabhas, Rajamouli Movie Crew Details

Director Rajamouli has announced the details of his next flick today at Cinemax, Hyderabad. Young Rebel Star Prabhas is playing the lead role in this mega budget period film, which will be released in Telugu and Tamil versions. Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni will produce it under Arka Media banner while K.Raghavendra Rao presents it.

Informing the details about this film, Rajamouli says that the budget of this film will fall in between 50-70 crores, which is twice the budget of all-time hit film Magadheera. The movie will be a full-length period film with rich visual effects.

Rajamouli, Prabhas, Raghavendra rao coming together

Successful director Rajamouli and Rebel Star Prabhas are back again with a new film, but this time they have teamed up with prominent film-maker K Raghavendra Rao. It is well aware that, after the blockbuster hit Chatrapathi, Rajamouli is looking out to direct another film with Prabhas but both of them got busy in their own projects.

However, it looks like things are shaping up in a right way now, and the film-makers are all set to announce the new film details formally on 18^th February at Cinemax, Hyderabbad. Rajamouli's 'Eega' shoot from Feb 21

Eega, the much-talked about movie from top director S S Rajamouli, is finally going to the sets from Feb 21st. Although the movie was launched two months ago, Rajamouli was busy with Rajanna (his father's directorial venture) and pre-production of this movie. So now he is commencing the regular shoot from next week. Also art director Ravinder in Hyderabad is erecting a special set.

On the other hand, a leading Tamil producer has already snapped the rights of this movie for a whopping amount. Eega is also to be released by this producer in Tamil simultaneously with the Telugu film.

Nani and Samantha are the lead pair while Kannada actor Sudeep is playing antagonist in the movie. Animated 'Eega' (Housefly) is the main hero of the movie. Korrapati Sai is producing this flick, while M M Keeravani is providing the music.

Rajamouli to launch Akkineni Hero!!!!!

Despite Akkineni Akhil debuted as child artist with Sisindri long ago, he developed interest towards cricket and Nagarjuna left it for Akhil to select the career in films or cricket. Latest buzz in cine circuit is Akhil expressed the interest to join family profession of acting. Sexy Heroine feels 'Unsafe' with Ram Charan

All the regular movie buffs might be already informed about sexy heroine Samantha refusing the offer of Ram Charan's 'Merupu' on the basis of unavailable reasons. While fresh heroines into the industry compete with seniors to snap the offers from Mega Heroes, Samantha has bravely put down the valuable catch.

A few days back it was said that romantic king Nagarjuna has signed up a new film under the direction of veteran filmmaker S S Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad’s directorial which has been titled as ‘Rajanna’. It is also said that Nag will play the title role and the film is going to be produced under Nag’s own banner Annapoorna Studios. Now the latest news is that smiling beauty Sneha is going to will be pairing with Nagarjuna once again for this high budget film. Earlier they both acted together for a super hit film Sri Ramadasu.

Sources say that it might be a bilingual film to be made both in Tamil and Telugu as both the actors have good mark in Tamil also. It is also said that though Sneha’s role might not be a big one, sharing the screen space with top hero might gives her much weightage.

‘Maryada Ramanna’ cycle to be auctioned!

The recent tollywood trend of auctioning the weapons used by the heroes in the films looks like have slight change. The trend was started with ‘Magadheera’ in which the sword and shield used by Ramcharan were auctioned and ends with latest ‘Simha’ in which Bala Krishna’s axe was auctioned. And now it looks like the properties of the heroes are going to be auctioned. It is heard that comedian turned Sunil’s cycle which he had used in ‘Maryada Ramanna’ will be auctioned soon for good cause.

The auction will be held on August 14^th at Annapurna Studios. Regarding this, the film director Rajamouli tweeted, “We are auctioning Maryada Ramanna cycle on 14th August at Annapurna Studios at 4.00 PM. whatever amount the cycle goes for, the producers and I will triple it and donate the total amount to Devnar School for the blind. All are welcome.”

‘ I am inspired by Kota Srinivasa Rao’: says Sunil

Comedian turned hero Sunil is now riding with big success after his latest film ‘Maryada Ramanna’ going great at the box office as well as receiving great applauds from all over.

Sunil while speaking to the media said, “I was really shocked when director Rajamouli told me that he is planning to make a film with me, that too me in the lead role. But, he made it true. He advised me to keenly observe the acting style and mannerism of some comedians before starting this film. First, I couldn’t understand why he suggested me so, but later when we start our film, I understood his reason. Although, it is a full length of comedy film and being a comedian I was not allowed to make any comedy, yet I have to create it with my expressions and body language only. When, I watched the great actor s like late Relangi, Kota Srinivasa Rao and many others I came to know so many new things about acting.”

“In fact, I am inspired by Kota Srinivasa Rao and tried to imitate him to some extent in this film. But, it nicely blends into the screen play of the film. That’s why appreciations pouring on me and on my film from everywhere. Now, I understood how to create comedy out of serious roles. ”

Much awaited ‘Maryada Ramanna’ releasing today!

Much awaited Rajamouli-Sunil combo latest flick ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is hitting the screens the silver screens in 325 prints all over the world in 400 screens with much hype.

It is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda under Arka Media and has Saloni playing the female lead opposite Sunil in this film. Keeravani’s music which was released a few days back is getting good response from the audience. The film is said to be clean and comedy entertainer without violence and it was said by the censor itself by its ‘U’ certification.

Rajamouli first shot for Archana’s new thriller

The well known actress Archana (earlier Veda) who became familiar with ‘Nenu’ starring Allari Naresh is playing a lead role in a new film which is said to be a suspense thriller. This yet to be titled film has been launched at Hyderabad today. Music director MM Keeravani has switched on the camera; Senthil Kumar gave the clap while the first shot was directed by SS Rajamouli on Archana.

This thriller film is going to be directed by Puneet and produced by Kranthi, and the film would be shot in the locations of Vizag, Hyderabad and Chennai.

‘Maryada Ramanna’ in its final song shooting!

Successful director Rajamouli and comedian actor Sunil’s forthcoming flick ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is undergoing its final song picturization at Annapoorna Studios in Hyderabad. Recently the audio of the film was launched and is going great in the market.

The film features Saloni in the female and is produced by Devineni Prasad and Shobhu Yarlagadda under Arka Media Pvt. Ltd. ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is an out and out comedy entertainer set against Rayalaseema backdrop and revolves around the hospitality factors and Nagineedu playing the Rayalaseema faction leader in the film.
