Bala Krishna rejected a cameo role in Dhookudu!

It is known that Bala Krishna has been doing a cameo role in Manchu Manoj, Shriya Saran’s film under the direction of Ani. Now, Bala Krishna was approached for yet another cameo role in Mahesh Babu’s undershoot film Dhookudu but the Yuvaratna is said to have rejected Srinu Vytla’s offer stating he has no interest in doing guest roles.

Dookudu is currently progressing at Mumbai where the introduction song of Mahesh Babu is being canned. Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are jointly producing the movie under the banner 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Thaman is composing the music for the film.

Mahesh Dookudu Progressing Briskly at RFC

Mahesh Babu’s undershoot film Dookudu is progressing its shoot at rapid pace in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Few action scenes are being canned in the schedule which will continue to Old City in a couple of days. Followed by this schedule, the unit will move to Mumbai for canning a song in the film.

Samantha is starring opposite Mahesh in the film and Happy Days fame Sonia is playing an important role. Mahesh Dookudu next schedule at Mumbai

Prince Mahesh Babu’s undershoot film Dookudu is currently progressing at brisk pace. After the current schedule in Hyderabad, the unit is moving to Mumbai for its new schedule which commences from 9th, March and will move on for 2weeks. Samantha is playing Mahesh’s love interest in the film while Happy days fame Sonia is playing an important role.

Thaman to score music for Trivikram and Venky film

Director Trivikram has chosen music director Taman for his next film with Venkatesh as hero. After working with reputed music directors like Koti (first film), Manisharma (Atadu and Khaleja) and Devi Sri Prasad (Jalsa), his selection of Taman surprises everyone in the film industry. But this time, Trivikram wants to work with technicians who deliver results fast so that the movie can be completed in speed way.

Danaiah is producing this film which will go to the sets next month. Although heroine has not yet been finalized, a young heroine who acted in couple of movies is in the race for it.

Ravi teja's Mirapakaya collects 25.04 crores in 2weeks!

Mahesh "Dookudu" next schedule to commence in Gujarat

Mahesh starrer Dookudu under the direction of Srinu Vaitla has completed its current schedule at Hyderabad. The next schedule of the film will commence from 1^st February at Gujarat. Earlier Dookudu has completed its schedules at Hyderabad, Turkey and Malaysia.

Samantha is pairing opposite Mahesh in the film. Being produced by Anil Sunkara under the banner 14 Reels entertainment, the film has music by Thaman. After Dookudu gets wrapped up, Mahesh will join the sets of Puri Jagannath’s film titled The Business Man.

Dookudu shoot kick-starts today!

After a brief gap, Mahesh starrer Dookudu has kick-started its shoot today at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. Earlier the film has completed a schedule at Turkey. Samantha, the hot and happening actress of Tollywood is playing the female lead in the film.

Dookudu is being directed by Srinu Vytla and produced by Achanta Gopichand, Anil Sunkara and Achanta Ram jointly in the banner 14 Reels Entertainment. Dookudu is the second film under the banner 14 Reels Entertainment, first being Namo Venkatesa, also directed by Srinu Vytla. Thaman is rendering the tunes for the film.

‘Mirapakaya’ audio launched on grand scale!

Ravi teja, Richa Gangopadhyay, Deeksha Seth starrer ‘Mirapakaya’ audio was launched on a grand scale at Taj Deccan Hotel. Amidst of several tollywood celebrities the audio of the film was launched grandly. The celebrities who spoke on the event opined that ‘Mirapakaya’ becomes a successful hit.

While TG Venkatesh launched the audio CD, Ram Gopal Varma has released the audio CD and Achi Reddy unveiled the first look of trailer in the event.

Speaking on the event, Harish Shankar said, “We wrapped up the shooting of the film 20 days ahead of the fixed schedule. Ravi Teja has done a great job in the film and I feel lucky to have a producer Ramesh Puppala.”

Producer Ramesh Puppala said, “Initially I was nervous to take up this project. But my friend venkat of RR Moviemakers encouraged me. Each and every person worked very hard for this movie. Thaman gave good music and I am looking forward for the success of the film”

Mahesh, Samantha’s ‘Dookudu’ shooting in Hyderabad!

We have earlier informed to our viewers that Mahesh Babu‘s  new film, Dookudu has completed its first schedule in Turkey. The second schedule of the film has commenced from today in Hyderabad. Samantha is playing the female lead opposite Mahesh in the film.

Successful film-maker, Srinu Vytla is directing the film and Achanta Ram, Achanta Gopinath and Anil Sunkara are producing it under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Thaman is scoring the music for the film.

The other casts include Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Shayaji Shinde, Vennela Kishore etc.

‘Mirapakaya’ audio to hit the stands in 1st week of Dec

Ravi Teja’s upcoming film ‘Mirapakaya’ has almost wrapped up its shoot except a song which is currently being canned at Ramoji Film City.  With this song the entire shooting gets completed and the film moves to post-production phases.

Meanwhile, the film-makers are planning to launch the audio in the first week of December. Thaman has scored the music for the film. Richa Gangopadhyay and Deeksha Seth are playing the female leads in the film. Richa is back with two releases in the same month. Her ‘Nagavali’ opposite Venkatesh is hitting the screens on 16^th December and Mirapakaya is slated for release on 23^rd December.

‘Veedu Chaala Hot Guru’ the film is touted as an out and out mass entertainer with ample comedy. The movie is currently filming a song on Ravi Teja and Richa Gangopadhyay in Hyderabad. The song will be canned in next four days.

Richa Gangopadhyay and Deeksha Seth are playing the female lead in the film. ‘Mirapakaya’ is being directed by Harish Shankar. Ramesh Puppala is producing it under the banner ‘Yellow Flowers’. Thaman is scoring the music for the film.

Manchu Manoj & Varun Sandesh’s multi-starrer soon!

Manchu Manoj and Varun Sandesh will be soon seen in a multi-starrer film under the production house of GK Corporation. Hero Vishal’s brother Vikram Krishna will produce this film. GK Film Corporation is planning this film bilingually, where Manoj acts in both Tamil and Telugu versions while Varun Sandesh will be seen in Telugu version only and his role in Tamil version will be played by Nakul. The movie will be directed by Thiru.

The movie is being touted as a triangular love story. The movie is all set for its grand launch in the month of December and will be concluded by March 2011. Thaman has been roped in as the music director and other details of female leads and artists are not confirmed officially.

However, many opine that this film might surely set an example for new multi-starrers both in Tollywood and Kollywood.

Samantha narrowly escapes from 'Bomb'

Watching death closely with your eyes and escaping it by a hairline thin is definitely related with our luck and the affection of god, stated the hot actress. Samantha, the hot siren of Telugu cinema escaped a bomb blast the other day narrowly. Shocked with the incident, the girl spent rest of her day in praying God for saving her life.

Currently, Samantha is in Istanbul, the capital  of Turkey for the shooting of Mahesh Babu's 'Dookudu' under the direction of Sreenu Vytla. Day before yesterday a bomb blast rocked the Taksim Square of Istanbul, which killed 20 people and injured several others. The luckiest girl, Samantha just crossed the bomb site right before 5 minutes of the explosion by a suicide bomber. Despite  the emergency situation in the city, the unit of 'Dookudu' is going to continue the shoot until 10th of this month.

Nag's ‘Ragada’ in Hyderabad

‘Ragada’starring romantic king Nagarjuna, Hot Actress Anushka and Priyamani is currently filming in Hyderabad under Veeru Potla’s direction. The film is said to be a full length comedy and action entertainer.

This is going to be a fun filled film like the earlier films of Nagarjuna.He is playing the character of a market yard owner in Kadapa.We can hear Nagarjuna delivering his dialogues in Rayalseema slang.Charmee has done a special song for the movie. The producer D Siva Prasad Reddy says the title of the flick is gaining more popularity in the industry.

The team is going to picturize two songs and some scenes in Jordan. Music is given by Thaman and the songs are to be out in November.

Young Tiger NTR starrer film Brindavanam has opened with a positive talk. Regardless of the talk the film is running great at the box office. The fans of Jr.NTR were very much impressed with the new look of the hero and are keen in watching the film for the second time. The film later on picked up at the cash counters. Ravi Teja’s ‘Mripakaya‘ reaches climax

After giving hits like ‘Kick’ and ‘Don Seenu’, Raviteja agreed a film in the direction of Harish Shankar with the title Mirapakaya’ and the tagline is ‘Veedu Chaala Hot Guru’ under the banner of Yellow Flowers. As we all know that Richa Gangopadhyay and Diksha are playing female roles in this movie.

As per the latest buzz, the film has reached the last leg of its making and the canning of the climax scenes is happening. The venue for all this is the regular hot spot Bangkok and this will include action sequences. Producer of the film is Ramesh Puppala and Sai Thaman, who delivered a hit music on his debut with ‘Kick’ will do the music for the film.

Review

Story

Krish (NTR) is the only son of a multi-millionaire industrialist and his girlfriend is Indu (Samantha). Indu’s friend is Bhoomi (Kajal Agarwal). Bhoomi’s father (Prakash Raj) forces her to get into wedlock but she wants to continue her studies. Hence she lies to her father that she is already in love with a guy and her father wants to meet her boy friend. Indu asks Krish to act as boyfriend of Bhoomi. The rest of the story is all about what happens in Brindavanam (Prakash Raj’s house).

Artists Performance:

NTR: NTR who is known as huge mass hero came out of his image to do a character that doesn’t have his usual roughness to it. He is very good as a lover boy and a lovable son. He has also made sure that there are ample fights and a few mass dialogues for his fan-base to enjoy. NTR should be appreciated for doing the pre-climax scene. He again proves to be one of the best dancers in the industry.

Kajal Agarwal is nice. Samantha who played prim, proper and individualistic Jessie in YMC played a glamorous role in this film by wearing western outfits. She is cool. Prakash Raj does his usual father role with panache. Srihari is very good in an important role. Brahmanandam is hilarious as dupe father of NTR. Ajay looks dashing as villain, Tanikella Bharani and Kota Sreenivasa Rao are excellent. Venu madhav, Mukesh Rushi, Raghu Babu & Ahuti Prasad are adequate.

Director Vamsy Paidipalli did enough home work this time. His efforts can be fructified. To say something trivial, Vamsy Paidipalli proved that he has good taste for women. Not just the heroines, even the side dancers looked beautiful in dances (especially in village song). Glamour quotient is maintained through out the film even with female character artistes.

Technical Departments:

The story of the movie resembles a few similar themed films like Bavagaru Bagunnara and Allugugaru Vacharu. There also traces of Bommarillu in Prakash Raj’s characterization. Vamsi Paidipalli has proved his calibre as a director who knows how to make stylish, action films with his debut Munna. The action sequences in this movie are also well conceived. Vamsi has also did well in entertainment department in the second half of brindavanam. However, he couldn’t get it right when it comes to emotional/sentiment scenes. He tried using typical Karan Johar kind of sentiment where each and every character in the movie has moisturized eyes either due to happiness or sadness. The senti/emotional scenes are artificial in the movie. But the screenplay is properly formatted to cater to all sections of audiences.

Music by Thaman is good on screen when combined with the visuals. Background music is nice. Dialogues by Koratala Siva are neat. Cinematography by Chota K Naidu is excellent. I liked the way he has shown the vehicles with a clear sky behind. Editing is smooth. Art direction by Anand Sai is good. Ram - Laxman’s fights are enjoyable. Production values by Dil Raju are good very good.

Final Analysis:

First half of the movie is adequate. Major part of the second half is entertaining. Climax of the movie is debatable. The plus points are NTR and entertainment in second half (from interval to the 5th song of the movie). On the flip side, the story of the movie gives us deja vu feeling in many aspects and the emotional part should have been natural (instead of appearing forced). Brindavanam is a decent and clean movie with enough ingredients to make it work at box office. It is up to NTR to get a range for the movie.

N.T.R is under pressure due to ‘Brindaavanam’ release

‘Brindaavanam’ is ready for release tomorrow; Jr.NTR chose to express his feelings on his twitter account.  The star actor wrote, “God I have never been so nervous. ‘Brindaavanam’ releases tomorrow.”

The reasons behind his nervousness are that the actor had only one release earlier in 2010, ‘Adurs’ in which Jr.NTR’s played a dual role. Although Jr N.T.R performance appreciated, the film failed at the box office. So he is eager to score a hit this year, other reason for being nervous could be the way Rajnikanth’s ‘Robo’ has been running successfully across Andhra Pradesh.

‘Brindaavanam’ will have to compete with this futuristic film. One thinks the biggest reason why Jr.NTR could be so nervous is because he has gone for a complete image make over with ‘Brindaavanam’. He plays a soft urban character unlike his previous dare devil roles. It will be interesting how the audiences might receive their star in such a role.
