Shriya’s item number in Manoj’s film

Shriya Saran was one of the top heroines of Tollywood at one point of time. But the actress has settled down to item numbers in the recent years. She has sizzled in Pawan Kalyan’s Puli with a hot item number. Shriya has done a lead role in Don Seenu after a long time but the actress failed to grab the attention of Tollywood producers.

Now, the actress is all set to shake legs with Manoj in an item number. Shriya has signed up the item number in the film that has Manchu Manoj and Deeksha Seth in the lead roles. The film will be directed by Anil and produced by D S Rao under Sai Krishna productions banner.

Manoj’s Vuukodathara Ullikki Padathara on the sets from 14th March

It is known that Manchu Manoj has signed up a film under their family production house Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and the film has been titled as Vuukodathara Ullikki Padathara. Now, the latest buzz is the movie will move onto the floors from 14th March.

Deeksha Seth has been roped in as the female lead and Nandamuri Bala Krishna will grace the screens in a special role in the movie. Raj, who worked as assistant director to Krishna Vamsi is debuting as director with the film and Lakshmi Manchu is producing it. It is noteworthy to mention that Manoj’s other film in the direction of Anil Krishna was launched yesterday. Manoj is also said to be busy in listening to new scripts from directors.

Manchu Manoj, who has been out of action due to his shoulder injury, is all set to bounce back to his professional career. He has already signed up a film titled Vuu kodathara Ulikkipadathara with debutant director Raja. Deeksha Seth has been zeroed in for the female lead in the film.

Now, the latest news is Manoj has signed another new film under the direction of Anil Krishna who has earlier directed Kalyanaram’s Asadhyudu. The movie will be produced by D.S.Rao, who is currently producing Nani starrer Pilla Zamindar. Other details of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed.

If sources are to be believed, Bala Krishna is all set to grace the screens with a cameo role in Manchu Manoj’s upcoming flick titled Vuu Kodathara Vulikki Padathara. The movie is being directed by a debutant Raja and Manoj’s sister Lakshmi Manchu is producing the film under her home production banner Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. The movie is gearing up to hit the floors shortly.

On the other hand, Bala Krishna is busy with his projects Sri Rama Rajyam and a film with Paruchuri Murali. Once the actor is done with these two films, he will enter the sets of Vuu Kodathara Vulikki Padathara for the guest role. Get set for this one folks!!!

Deeksha Seth shares screen presence with Manoj

Hot actress Deeksha Seth has signed her next flick opposite Manchu Manoj, which is titled as Vuukodathara Ullikki Padathara. Manoj’s sister Lakshmi Manchu is producing the film under her home production banner Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

Initially, Lakshmi Prasanna is said to have approached Samantha for the role and as the actress was not willing to act in the film, Deeksha Seth grabbed the offer. Vuukodathara Ullikki Padathara is currently in its pre-production stages and is likely to move onto the sets very soon.

Manchu Manoj & Varun Sandesh’s multi-starrer soon!

Manchu Manoj and Varun Sandesh will be soon seen in a multi-starrer film under the production house of GK Corporation. Hero Vishal’s brother Vikram Krishna will produce this film. GK Film Corporation is planning this film bilingually, where Manoj acts in both Tamil and Telugu versions while Varun Sandesh will be seen in Telugu version only and his role in Tamil version will be played by Nakul. The movie will be directed by Thiru.

The movie is being touted as a triangular love story. The movie is all set for its grand launch in the month of December and will be concluded by March 2011. Thaman has been roped in as the music director and other details of female leads and artists are not confirmed officially.

However, many opine that this film might surely set an example for new multi-starrers both in Tollywood and Kollywood.

‘Jhummandi Nadam’ completes 50 days successfully!

K.Raghavendra Rao’s directorial ‘Jhummandi Nadam’ starring Manchu Manoj and debutant Tapsi in the lead has completed its 50 days mark successfully by today.

It is produced by Lakshmi Manchu and Mohan Babu is playing a prominent role in the film. Bhupathi Raja has given the story of the film while Gopi Mohan has developed the screenplay. Melody composer Keeravani has scored the music.

While speaking at the occasion, Lakshmi Manchu says “Jhummandi Nadam is the biggest film in Manoj’s career in box office collections. The film has completed 50 days in 30 centers. The film got good accolades for its music as well as its literature. Raghavendra Rao uncle crafted the film that accomplishes so much. Tapsee glamour has helped this film a lot. She entered the Telugu film industry through ‘Jhummandi Nadam’ and now turned into a busy heroine. I thank Keeravani garu for provided a wonderful music and the audience for watching and appreciating it.”

Will Manch Manoj turn villain to NTR?

Young tiger Jr NTR is currently busy working simultaneously for both ‘Brindavanam’ and ‘Shakti’ which are scheduled for release in few months.

It is also said that NTR who has signed up a new films under both Srinu Vytla and Boyapati Seenu’s direction has signed up another new film under the direction of ace director Surender Reddy. Earlier, this duo has worked for ‘Ashok’.

Now the interesting buzz about the project is that the film is said to be a multi starrer one and the makers are planning to rope Manchu Manoj in the film but he has not given any confirmation from his side. The strong buzz is that he might be playing the villain role against NTR in this film.

Manchu Manoj and debutant Tapsee starrer K Raghavendra Rao’s forthcoming flick ‘Jhummandi Nadam’ is all set for its release on July 1st. Now the latest update about the film is that the team is busy with the re shoot of fighting sequence. It is heard that after watching the final outcome of the film, the team has come to know that the fighting scene was not up to the mark and decided to re shoot. The post production works are going faster as the release date is getting closer.

The movie has nine beautiful songs and Keeravani’s music is already on the top of the charts.The film is produced by Lakshmi Manchu under Lakshmi Prasanna Movies banner.

‘Vedam’ Releasing World-Wide on June 3rd!

Krish’s ‘Vedam’ has finally got its release date. The movie which was supposed to release in the month of May has now got its slot in the first week of June. The movie will be releasing world-wide on June 3rd. The fans of the three stars Allu Arjun, Manchu Manoj and Anushka are eagerly waiting for the film’s release.

According to the buzz, the movie is postponed in order to get a wider release in maximum number of screens. The movie is being produced by Devineni Prasad, Shobu Yarlagadda on Arka Entertainement banner. M.M.Keeravani has composed the music and it has recently hit the markets.

Allu Arjun and Manoj's ‘Vedam’ Audio Launch!

Allu Arjun, Manchu Manoj and Anushka multi-starrer flick ‘Vedam’ audio was launched yesterday at Taj Banjara, Hyderabad. Vedam is directed by Krish and produced by Arca Media. The film has music by M M Keeravani. The audio launch event is graced by Allu Arjun, Anushka, Manoj, Manoj Bajpai, Lekha Washington, Daksha Seth and Ramulu and Dil Raju.

Talking on the event, Allu Arjun said, “Many people questioned why I selected this film when I had lot of chances as a lead hero in many big budget films. I loved the script and this is the only film that I didn’t narrate it to my father before I signed. When he saw the flick recently, he complimented me as an actor for the first time. He also said that it would be remain as one of the great films that I did in my career. I am so happy to be part of this film made by Krish. I would like to express how much I adore Anushka on this stage. It is our fortune to have an actress like Anushka. She is simple superb.”

Bindaas Overseas Prints Increased

Manchu Manoj’s ‘Bindaas’ which has been released yesterday has got a good response from all the regions and now the overseas prints are being increased after the good buzz about the film. Earlier 5 prints were sent and now, 3 more prints are ordered.

The film was directed by Veeru Potla and is produced by Sunkara Ramambrahmam under AK Entertainments banner. Sheena Shahabadi who has debuted with this film seems to be scoring good marks with her sexy body. Brahmanandam also played a rocking role in the film.
