Ala Modalaindi 50days celebration

Nani, Nitya Menon starrer Ala Modalaindi has recently completed its 50days of run and the film unit has organized a grand event at Mountain Heights, Shilparamam in Hyderabad. Ala Modalaindi is a romantic comedy entertainer and is a debut film for director Nandini Reddy. 

The lady director was praised for her work in Ala Modalaindi and she is all set to direct her second film by teaming up with producer Bellamkonda Suresh.

Apart from the cast and crew of Ala Modalaindi, Dasari Narayana Rao, directors Ramesh Prasad, Boyapati Srinu, Harish Shankar, Vamshi Paidipally, Producer Bellamkonda Suresh, Rana, Sumanth, Varun Sandesh etc has attended the even and congratulated the team on their success.

Siddharth turns doctor for 180


After failing with Village lover boy’s role in Bava and as a brave sword man Yodha in Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu, Siddharth is back to his fond genre urbane romantic entertainer with 180. Unlike his other urbane roles, Siddharth will be seen as a doctor in this movie.

Most part of 180 was filmed in San Francisco, and the remaining part was shot in Malyasia, Chennai and Hyderabad. Priya Anand and Nithya Menon are playing Siddharth’s love interests in the film. Cinematographer K.T. Bala Subramaniam captured the visual by using Red camera, which are going to be eye pleasing.

Sharath is debuting as music composer, Umarji Anuradha has scripted the dialogues and Vanamaali has penned the lyrics for the film. 180 is jointly produced by SPI Cinemas and Aghal Films and has taken shape in the hands of famous ad film-maker Jayendra.

Ala Modalaindi completes 50 days of run

Nandini Raddy’s debut venture Ala Modalaindi with Nani and Nitya Menon in the lead roles has successfully completed its 50 days of run in 54 centers. Though the film did not release with much hopes,t high hopes, it slowly grabbed the attention of A and B centers with positive word of mouth publicity and registered as a hit at the Box-Office.
As per the trade reports, Ala Modalaindi might make Rs. 10 Crores where the producer ends up in good profits. The producer of the film is also said to be getting big offers for the remake rights of the film in other languages. The unit has planned to celebrate 50days function at Shilpa Kala Vedika on 15th of March.

Shruti Haasan in Nitya Menon Out!


It is known that Dil Raju has planned a film with Siddharth in the lead role with a title O My Friend. Initially, Amrita Rao has been roped in as the female lead role in the film but the lady walked away as she was not satisfied with the new cost-cutting measures and rules suggested by the Tollywood producers council.

Later, Nitya Menon has been considered for the role. However, the actress has been now replaced by Shruti Haasan. Siddharth and Shruti have already paired up for Anaganaga O Dheerudu. Though the film failed to score success at the Box-Office, the chemistry between the lead pair was appreciated. O My Friend will be directed by a debutant Venu Sriram.

Siddharth's 180 completes shooting


Siddharth, Nitya Menon, Priya Anand starrer 180 with a tag line Ee Vayasika Radhu has completed its entire shooting part of the film. The movie was earlier shot in the exotic locales of USA, Malaysia, and Hyderabad etc. As earlier informed, the movie is set for its summer release. 180 is a bilingual flick, being made in Telugu and Tamil versions.

Tanikella Bharani and Geeta will be seen in crucial roles in the film. Well-known Ad filmmaker Jayendran is debuting as a director with 180 and Satyam Cinemas is bringing it to the big screens. Sharath Vasudevan scored the music for the film and Cinematographer K.T. Bala Subramaniam captured the movie on Red camera.

Nitin to romance Nitya Menon

Nitin’s next flick Ishq is getting ready to move onto the sets shortly and Nitin will be seen romancing most happening Mallu beauty Nitya Menon in Ishq. Though Nitin has faced a series of flops, he has paired up with almost all Tollywood beauties, when it comes to heroines such as Genelia, Ileana, Priyamani, Nisha Kotari and now Nitya Menon.
Vikram Kumar, who earlier directed Bollywood film 13B, is crafting the film with a mix of love, action and entertainment. Vikram Goud will produce Ishq on Sreshta Media banner. PC Sriram is the cinematographer for the film and Aravind Shankar is the music director.

First look of Siddharth's '180' revealed


On the occasion of Valentine's Day, first look of Siddharth's current movie, 180 (Ee Vayasu Ika Radu), was unveiled. At a special press meet held at Taj Banjara, the first teaser poster was launched. Siddharth, heroines - Priya Anand and Nitya Menon, actor Tanikella Bharani and the film's director Jayendra were present at the press meet.

Director Jayendra said he would love the audiences to figure out what the number 180 means rather than telling it now. "I come from ad film background and I am used to narrate a story in 30 seconds but this time I had unlimited time to narrate a romantic story," he said.

Siddharth said the movie is full-fledge romantic entertainer. "Having done several romantic films, what excited me doing this film is Jayendra's unusual way of narrating the movie. The film is shot on RED ONE digital camera and the visuals in the movie are on par with international standards," he added.

He also said that the music of the movie is best in his career. "I say, after OYE, I loved this songs to the core in my entire career. Sarath Vasudevan has composed the music."

Clad in a pink dress, Priya Anand has this to say: "I am celebrating this Valentine's Day with this romantic film this year. I have enjoyed working with this team and it is good romantic film."

As per the sources, Nitya Menon is being flooded with offers in tollywood after her debut film release. The latest buzz is Nitya Menon has signed for Siddharth, Dil Raju’s tentatively titled flick O My Friend, which was launched yesterday. O MY Friend is her second film with Siddharth first being 180, which is currently in its filming.
On the other hand, there is also a buzz that Nitya is being considered for the female lead role in Autonagar Surya with Naga Chaitanya.

Nani, Nitya Menon to hit the screens again

The Ala Modalaindi lead pair, Nani and Nitya Menon are getting ready to reach the big-screens once again, but this time with a dubbed film. Titled as Veppam in Tamil, the film is being dubbed into Telugu, which is being produced by Gowtham Menon under his production house.
Apart from Nani and Nitya Menon, the film also casts Karthik Kumar and Bindu Madhavi in the lead roles. Being directed by Anjana Ali Khan, Sega is the title under consideration for the Telugu version.
So, get ready to face the Sega of this hot pair, on big-screens again.

Nithya Menon happy with Ala Modalaindi

Actress Nitya Menon, who has debuted in Tollywood with Nani starrer Ala Modalaindi received huge applauses for her acting skills in the film. The actress says she is on cloud nine for comparing her with gorgeous actress Soundarya. Nitya was even appreciated as she sang a couple of songs in Ala Modalaindi along with dubbing her voice in the film.
Speaking about the film Nitya says, “The film manages to keep you hooked to the screen by creating an interest, as there are no unnecessary songs or sub-plots.”
“I am so happy that the film is doing so well with audiences. I'm pleased with the healthy competition in the Telugu film industry,” she further said.

Ala Modalaindi going strong at Box-Office

Young Hero Nani and Nitya Menon starrer 'Ala Modalaindi' is going strong at the Box-Office with growing collections from the release date onwards. Director Nandini Reddy has registered a hit in her account with her debut film. The word of mouth publicity for this slapstick romantic comedy entertainer is strong and the unit seems to be happy with the success.
Ala Modalaindi has a potential of collecting more than Rs 10 Cr as per trade circles, which is said to be the wonderful collections for a small budget film. Ala Modalaindi is produced by K.L.Damodar Prasad under 'Sri Ranjith Movies' banner. The latest buzz is the film will be remade in Tamil version soon and a leading kollywood producer has already acquired the rights of the film for Tamil version.

Siddharth is currently busy in wrapping up the shooting of his forthcoming project titled 180. 180 is a bilingual flick being shot in Telugu and Tamil versions.

Being directed by famous ad filmmaker Jayendra, 180 is touted as a different triangular love story. The movie was earlier shot in the exotic locales of USA and Malaysia. Right now, the final schedule of shoot is being carried out.

New Sensational Heroine With Pawan Kalyan?

Out of nowhere, Pawan Kalyan has almost announced that he is coming up with the film ‘Gabbar Singh’ which is slated to be a remake of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Dabangg’. This also marks the debut of Pawan’s production house while the director is Harish Shankar of ‘Mirapakaya’ fame.
