KSD Appalraju releasing today in 300 screens!

After a long gap of 12 years, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is coming up with his straight Telugu directorial Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam: Appalraju today world-wide. The movie is being released in more than 300 screens and is ahead of Gautham Menon’s Erra Gulabilu releasing on the same day.

Sunil, Swathi, Sakshi Gulati, Brahmanandam are playing the main roles in the film. KSD Appalraju is being produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru on Shreya Productions banner. Koti has scored the music for the film and Sudhakar Yakkanti has handled the cinematography.

KSD Appalraju completes censor formalities

Ram Gopal Varma’s Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalraju is gearing up for its release on 18^th February. In regard to this, the producer of the film has submitted the first copy of the movie to Censor Board and has received U/A certificate with no cuts. The film casts Sunil, Swathi, Sakshi Gulati in key roles.

KSD Appalraju is produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru and the movie is touted as a full-fledged situational comedy entertainer with regard to the hard hitting satires on Telugu film industry. KSDA has already created enough buzz with its trailers and brochure and teasers.

Let’s wait and see if the film clicks at the ticket windows and brings few smiles for the unit of Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalraju.

KSD 'Appalraju' on Feb 18

Ram Gopal Varma directed Sunil Starrer KSAD Appalraju was initially planned for Sankranthi release but it was postponed due to strike in the film industry. Later it was announced that the movie would hit the screens on Feb 4th. But it didn't come. Finally, the movie is hitting the screens on Feb 18th.

Ever since RGV launched the movie, Appalraju has been getting attention from all quarters as it has been widely publicized that the maverick director is making sarcastic remarks at the mighty men of the film industry.

Moreover, the movie is the first 'straight' Telugu film in the 12 years. So far all his Telugu releases are dubbed movies posed as 'straight' movies.

KSD Appalraju postponed again!

Ram Gopal Varma's directorial Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalaraju has been postponed yet again. The producer of the film has earlier stated that the film releases on 4^th February, later it was postponed to 10^th February and now, the movie is yet again postponed to 18^th of this month. The makers of the film are yet to complete the post-production works and this is the reason for delay of the release.

Sunil, Swathi and Sakshi are playing the key roles in this comic caper. KSDA has created huge buzz in the tinsel town with the recently released trailer which shows all the prime characters in this movie. Varma has taken digs at various people related to TFI in the film.

RGV fearing 'Wanted' effect

Buzz is that, director of 'Wanted', BVS Ravi is the main minus of the film as per Film Nagar talk. As he is a review writer and film critic in the past, the media showed most attention and has blown up the minute mistakes in his film as major sins. As a result, the film has bitten mud at the BO.

Now, in his upcoming film 'KSD Appalaraju', Ram Gopal Varma is going to criticize most of the top and key technicians and media people of the film industry. 'Ala Modalaindi' debut director Nandini Reddy is an ideal example of why she is alone rated as 'Lady Boss' in TFI. Success or failure of a film is not single handedly determined by a thumb rule based on the content or star cast. 'Ala Modalaindi' doesn’t have both of them and market intellectuals are scrutinizing on best reasons that helped the film generate such a big hit talk.

'KSD Appalraju' confirmed for Feb 4

Ram Gopal Varma's comedy, KSD Appalraju, starring Sunil and Swathi, is releasing on February 4th on grand scale. Producer Kiran Kumar Koneru confirms the release date. "Entertainment gets prime importance in the movie and we are happy with the response for movie's songs too. Ram Gopal Varma writing lyrics for one of the songs is also a major attraction apart from several surprises in the movie," producer Kiran Kumar Koneru said.

RGV’s Appalrraju in Hyderabad

The comedian turned actor Sunil is currently busy with his upcoming flick ‘Katha-Screenplay-Darsakathvam: Appalrraju’ shooting in and around Hyderabad. The film is directed by sensational unique director Ram Gopal Varma.

As per the unit the 60% of the shoot was wrapped up. It is heard that after Rakta Charitra, RGV has come up with an idea of making this full length comedy script with a funny title. RGV is going to wield the megaphone straight for a Telugu film after a gap of 12 years.

As said this is going to be comedy film. The story of the film is sketched like this. Sunil is playing the role of Appalrraju in this film. Appalrraju is a film lover who is from Amalapuram.He loves to watch the films on the first day of its release and that too for the first show. He then starts criticizing right from the hero, heroine, director, producer and other casts too. He believes that he can give better films and he moves from Amalapuram and reaches film nagar in Hyderabad. The real story kicks of from here whether he will fulfill his dreams or not will be the story.

The film casts Swathi plays the female lead while Sakshi plays the role of the heroine of director.Dr Brahmanandam, Krishnudu, Aadarsh, Ali, Venu Madhav, Thanikella Bharani, Chalapathi Rao and others in the supporting roles. Koti is composing the music while Sudhakar Reddy handles the camera.

Sumanth, Swathi’s new flick under the direction of Mohana Krishna Indraganti is said to be titled as ‘Jaagore’. But now the latest news is that the film has been renamed as ‘Golconda High School’. Mohana Krishna Indraganti had earlier directed ‘Ashta Chemma’ film with Nani and Swathi in the lead roles.

This new film with Sumanth and Swathi is said to be inspired from a book ‘The Men Within’ which was written by Hari Mohan. The book is first Indian novel on cricket.

The film is expected to release in the month of September.The film has Ravinder as art director; Senthil who handled cinematography for ‘Magadheera’ will handle for this flick too. Kalyani Malik is scoring the music for the film. Indraganti who has received success with ‘Ashta Chemma’ is trying to continue his victory with this film too.

The nandi award winners are announced recently in AP for 2008. Though Arundati released in 2009 jan,its censor took place in december and hence the movie is considered in 2008 awards. The film bagged 10 Nandi's. Anyways anushka got a special jury award.

But one question remains in every one mind. Anushka with her faboulous performance in Arundathi made the movie blockbuster. But the Jury members felt that Colors Swati in 'Asta Chemma' performed better than Anushka. Many feel that Swati did lot of overacting in Asta chemma and jury members always prefer Telugu girl than other state actress. Since Anushka is not from AP, did she miss the award?
