Nag's Gaganam Cencor Report Clean U, Premiere Show Details

Nagarjuna's ‘Gaganam’ under Dil Raju’s production acquired clean ‘U’ certificate and is all set to hit screens on February 11th. It is an experimental film directed by ‘Aakasamantha’ fame Radha Mohan. The story is based on the hijacking of an Indian Airlines Plane to Kandhahar in December 1999. The major part of the film was shot in the special designed plane sets. Some important scenes were also canned in Himachal Pradesh. ‘Gaganam’ is a bilingual film and the Tamil version is titled as ‘Payanam’. Besides playing an important role, Prakash Raj is also producing the Tamil version. Other prominent stars are Brahmanandam, Poonam Kaur, Sana Khan, Harshavardhan, Ravi Prakash, etc.

Premiere Show

premiere of Nagarjuna’s Gaganam three days before the release. He is going to arrange a special premiere to the press and media on the night of 8 February. There will be premieres for industry people on the night of 9 Feb. Then the unit (Nagarjuna, Dil Raju, Prakash Raj and others) will travel in a chartered flight to Sangam theater in Vizag at 10:30 am for morning show. Then they will visit Geeta Apsara theater in Rajahmundry for 1:30 pm. The unit will go to Annapurna theater in Vijayawada at 4:30 pm. Then they will return to Hyderabad to attend a 4-screens premiere in Prasads multiplex during the time of first show. The second show premiere in Hyderabad will take place in Cinemax. it cost almost 10 lacs to hire a chartered flight for a day for the promotion of Gaganam film.

Nag's Gaganam postponed to 11th Feb!

Nagarjuna starrer Gaganam is postponed yet again. Looks like Gaganam has become real Gaganam for the film-makers to bring down to the screens. The movie which was suppose to reach the screens in the early December is postponed to 4^th February initially and the latest buzz is the film is yet again postponed by a week and will release on 11^th , February.

Sources say that the postponement is due to Ram Gopal Varma’s directorial KSD Appalraju, which is reaching the screens on 4^th February. To avoid clash with KSDA film, producer Dil Raju has postponed his experimental film Gaganam by a week.

While Radha Mohan is directing the film in both Tamil and Telugu versions, Prakash Raj is producing it in Tamil version.

Charmi then, Bhumika now!!

The hot babes of the tinsel town are showing their headstrong attitude towards the producers again and again. Some time back the curvaceous Punjabi chick Charmi did the same thing and now it is followed by married hot heroine Bhumika. Both these Punjabi girls are making the producers go head over heels with their ruthless behavior.

Ultimately, Bhumika's new flick 'Collector Gari Bharya' is going to release on this Diwali. However, the pretty actress is not available for the promotion of the film and is said to be saying that she is not interested for it. Being a small film, Collector gari bharya requires huge promotion and Prakash Raj, Bhumika are only the major attraction of the film as the director is a newbie. If it goes this way, in no time the low budgeted producers of Telugu Cinema Industry will extinct. The hot siren is unavailable for a comment and insiders revealed that she is holidaying in Dubai along with her husband Bharat Takur and close friends.

Nagarjuna’s 'Gaganam' Releases in Nov

 

Nagarjuna’s upcoming film ‘Gaganam’ is going to hit the screens only in the 3rd week or end of Nov.The producer of the film Dil Raju earlier said that the film will be releasing on Nov 5th as Diwali gift but made a sudden change in the release date.

If he is making a release right away he needs to face competition from the big films like Robo, Brindavanam and ‘Rakta Charitra’ in which one movie is his own production.

Nagarjuna is playing the role of a commando in this film. Nag considered as a romantic hero in Tollywood doesn’t have heroine in this film, which sounds very interesting.

The film is releasing in both Telugu and Tamil. The Telugu version is produced by Dil Raju in Telugu and Tamil version by Prakash Raj. The film is directed by ‘Aakasamantha’ fame Radha Mohan.

Shankar’s ‘3 idiots will be a quickie

Director Shankar had taken 2 years to complete Rajini’s ‘Robo’, where as Shankar’s next project ,which is a remake of Hindi Blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ will be completed in six months.

Shankar’s ‘3 idiots’ is remaking in Telugu and Tamil. There is news that he has already roped in the leading lady for his next movie and she is none other than Ileana, for both the versions she is the female lead. It will be a big breakthrough for Ileana if all this works out as planned.

As everyone speculating Mahesh Babu will be playing Aamir Khan’s role in this movie. Prakash Raj is also playing an important role in the movie, but there is no official statement has declared. Harris Jayaraj would be the music director and ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ fame cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa will handle the camera.

Nagarjuna’s forthcoming bilingual film titled ‘Payanam’ in Tamil and ‘Gaganam’ in Telugu is all set for the release on November 5^th.The film is directed by ‘Aakasamantha’ fame Radha Mohan.

Nagarjuna is playing a distinct role that has never been played by him ever before. Nag, who is considered as romantic hero, doesn’t even have a heroine beside him in the film.  He will be playing the role of a commando in the film and so Nag has undergone a crash course in training to portray this character. It is believed that the film is based on a hijack drama of Indian Airlines flight IC 814.Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam will be playing other important roles. This bilingual film is being produced by Prakash Raj in Tamil version and Dil Raju in Telugu version. It is also heard that Nagarjuna himself is dubbing for Tamil version also.

Prakashraj confirms his wedding with Pony Varma!

From long time there is news going on in the tinsel town that ace actor cum producer Prakashraj is going to marry bollywood famous choreographer Pony Varma soon.

Now the new has been confirmed by Prakashraj himself by saying that that both are getting married on August 24^th and it is going to take place in Mumbai. It is also said that the marriage will be a private affair with only close relatives and friends and later on reception will be arranged for Tamil, Kannada and Telugu film industries.

While speaking to the media Prakash Raj said,” Our marriage is to take place on 24th of this month in Mumbai. After this we will be hosting parties separately for the friends in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Pony Varma is our family’s daughter in law. We will not marry clandestinely. We will be holding our marriage with the blessings of all and fans.”

‘Gaganam’ title confirmed for Nagarjuna’s film

It is well known that romantic hero Nagarjuna’s forthcoming bilingual film which is being produced by Dil Raju in Telugu version has been considering titles like ‘Gaganam’ ,’Wanted’ and ‘Payanam’ for the film. Already Payanam has been confirmed for Tamil version which is being produced by Prakash Raj. It is being directed by Radha Mohan.

A few days back it is said that it looks like the producer is feeling some what difficult in selecting the title for the film, so he asked the audience and fans to choose the title of their choice from the above and mail it to nagmovietitle@gmail.com. It is said that the title with maximum emails will be chosen as the film’s name.

Now the latest confirmation is that the film has been given the title ‘Gaganam’ and the logo was also officially launched at State Art Gallery in Hyderabad.

The event was attended by King Nagarjuna, Poonam Kaur, Dil Raju, Prakash Raj, Radha Mohan MS Gauhan, Sirish, Laxman, etc.

Prakash Raj To Marry Pony Varma on June 24th!

It was already known that veteran actor Prakash Raj has been dating the bollywood choreographer Pony Varma and has decided to marry her soon to make their relation into formal. Now, the latest sources say that they both will marry on June 24. Recently, Prakash Raj was divorced with his wife Lalitha Kumari. He has two daughters from that marriage.

Prakash Raj has made his first public appearance with Pony Varma during the special screening of the Kannada remake of Abhiyum Naanum.

'Santharam' Award For Prakash Raj

National award winning film ‘Kanchivaram’ depicting the story of a silk weaver, received the best film Gold award and Best director Gold prize for the same film goes to Priyadarshan.
Prakash Raj, who comprehensively lived the role of silk weaver in the film ‘Kanchivaram’, bagged the prestigious Santharam award for best actor.

The awards were presented last night in the presence of the actress Sandhya who made a public appearance after several years to celebrate the 50th year of her musical hit ‘Navrang’ and was felicitated on the occasion.

The director Priyadarshan said, in the last 27 years of his career, he is presently working on his 80th movie and it was the first time that he had bagged the best director award for this movie.
