Story:

Raj (Sumanth) and Mythali (Priya Mani) will get engaged as decided by their families. Mythali will be very happy for this alliance. After the engagement, Raj falls in love with Priya (Vimala Raman) in some mysterious situation and decides to marry her. All of sudden one day Priya is found missing and Raj gets married to Mythali according to his father’s word. Being seriously in love Priya he doesn’t maintain any closeness with Mythali. Many days after getting married, Raj forgets his love and tries to get close with Mythali. When this happens to take place, all of a sudden he finds Priya. He comes to know that Priya left him due to some obstacles. Mythali who comes to know about this misunderstands Raj. How Raj saves Priya from her problems? Will he get back Mythali in his life or marries Priya makes the crux of the story.

Performances:

Sumanth is good in the role of. He is excelled a lot in stunt sequences and especially his chemistry with Priya Mani and Vimala Raman in the songs it outstanding.

Priya Mani plays her parts with confidence and looked glamorous all through the film. Her performance is just like earlier films and no improvement is found.

Vimala Raman still needs to improve her acting skills to make her foundation strong in the industry.

Comedy evoked by Ali and Srinivas Reddy is passable.

 Technical Aspects:

The basic plot of Raaj is just like some earlier triangular love stories films in Telugu. V. N Aditya direction of the film is adequate as he made nothing fresh to bring in some uniqueness. The screenplay should have been better. Music by Koti is okay. Action sequences are conceivable and were shot well.

Analysis:

It’s like an old wine in an old bottle as nothing is appealing. Find plus points in the film and win a free International trip as more of negatives were found. On the flipside, the first half should have been made in a more interesting way and second half is very boring and was really dragged like a serial. The comedy sequences were not properly handled. On a whole, Raaj is a below average flick.

Sumanth starrer Raaj gets U/A Ceritificate from Censor

Sumanth starrer Raaj is slated for a release on 18th March. The first copy of the film was submitted to the censor Board and has received U/A certification with few cuts. Raaj is a triangular love story with ample romance and mass elements and casts Priyamani and Vimala Raman in the female leads.

The leading ladies have done ample skin show in the film and Sumanth has done the intimate lip-lock scenes with both Vimala and Priyamani. Raaj is directed by V.N.Aditya and produced by Kumar Brothers on Kumar Brothers Cinema banner. The lead actors of the film Sumanth, Vimala and Priyamani are waiting to score a hit from long time. Well, let’s wait to see if they receive the much needed hit with Raaj.

Sumanth's Raaj postponed to March

The release of Sumanth’s new film Raaj in the direction of V N Aditya is postponed from 25^th February to first week of March. The movie is yet to complete its post-production activities and as a result, the release date is postponed.

Raaj is touted as a triangular love story in which Priyamani and Vimala Raman are playing the female leads. Kumar Brothers are producing the film on Kumar Brothers Cinema banner and Koti composed the music. The audio is already out in market.

Bramhanandam, Sayaji Shinde, Ali, Venu Madhav, Giri Babu, Ajay, Telangana Shakunthala will be seen in the supporting roles in the film.

Happy Birthday Sumanth

Actor Sumanth is celebrating his birthday today on 9^th, February. Coming from filmy background family, Sumanth has debuted in Tollywood in the year 1999 with Prema Katha. He has proved his mettle with films like Sathyam, Godavari, Gowri and the recently released Golconda High School.

Though Sumanth faced failures through Boni, Classmates, Pourudu etc, he now seems to be on track with Golconda High School. He portrayed a different and a memorable character in the film. His next flick Raaj under V.N.Aditya’s direction is gearing up for its release on 25^th February. Hope he comes up with many memorable roles in the coming years.

Sumanth's new film 'Raaj' under the direction of V.N.Aditya has almost wrapped up its post-production works and is gearing up for its release on 25^th February. Raaj is touted as a romantic action entertainer with a triangular love story.

Sumanth plays the role of a fashion photographer in the film. Priyamani and Vimala Raman are playing the female leads in the film. Kumar Brothers are producing the movie under the banner Kumar Brothers Cinema. Koti has scored the music and the remix track of Bheemavaram Bulloda is gaining applauses all over.

Sumanth, Swathi flick titled ‘Golconda High School’!

Sumanth, Swathi’s new flick under the direction of Mohana Krishna Indraganti is said to be titled as ‘Jaagore’. But now the latest news is that the film has been renamed as ‘Golconda High School’. Mohana Krishna Indraganti had earlier directed ‘Ashta Chemma’ film with Nani and Swathi in the lead roles.

This new film with Sumanth and Swathi is said to be inspired from a book ‘The Men Within’ which was written by Hari Mohan. The book is first Indian novel on cricket.

The film is expected to release in the month of September.The film has Ravinder as art director; Senthil who handled cinematography for ‘Magadheera’ will handle for this flick too. Kalyani Malik is scoring the music for the film. Indraganti who has received success with ‘Ashta Chemma’ is trying to continue his victory with this film too.

Sumanth caught between Priyamani and Vimala Raman’s love!

Already it is known that tall hero Sumanth has signed up a new film which is yet to be titled and is being directed by debutant Vigisipi Vishtaa and is being produced by Kumar brothers. Two beauties Priyamani and Vimala Raman are pairing with him.The film have completed its first schedule and will start its second and the last schedule from September 2 in the locations of Bangkok, Patai and Puket Island.

The film sources say “It is a family entertainer mixed with romance and emotions caught in a triangular love story. Though the theme would sound outdated, the director gave it an altogether new touch, which would never fail the audience. The role played by Sumanth would be varied in its presentation.”

The cast includes Ali, Sayaji Shinde, Hema, Giribabu, MS and others. The film has music is by Koti and cinematography by John. The movie is expected to release for Deepawali

Tall and handsome hero Sumanth is currently busy with his new flick which is yet to be titled being produced by Kumar Brothers. The shooting for couple of songs is being going on with the lead pair Sumanth and Vimala Raman. The songs were recently launched in Rama Naidu Studios that have lyrics by Sitarama Sastry.

Sumanth Next Moive Under Kumar Brothers Production!

Hero Sumanth is currently busy in shootings of a couple of projects. While one flick is under the direction of Ravi C Chavali, the other one is being directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna which has Swathi in the female lead.

The latest news is that Sumanth had now signed up a new film with under Kumar Brothers and the movie will be launched grandly in the next month. Kumar Brothers had earlier produced films such as ‘Naa Girl friend Baga Rich’ with Sivaji and ‘Saadhyam’ with Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani. This is their third film. Other details of the cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced.
