Jagapathi Babu’s ‘Gaayam 2’ to release on September 3rd!

Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman starrer ‘Gaayam 2’ is currently progressing at a brisk pace. The movie is a sequel to RGV’s block-buster hit action film, ‘Gaayam’. The latest news is that the film is expected to release on September 3^rd.

Being presented by Ram Gopal Varma, the film is being directed by Praveen Sriand and is being produced by Dr.Dharmakartha under the banner, ‘Kartha Creations’. The film has music by Ilayaraja who had scored for its prequel too. Lyrics are penned by Bhaskar Bhatla, Anantha Sriram, Vanamali and Kaluva Krishna Sai. Gandham Nagraju has penned the dialogues; Anil Bhandari handled the cinematography and Praaveen is the editor of the film. The other cast and crew of the film includes Kota Srinivasa Rao, Thanikella Bharani, Kota Prasad, etc.

Balakrishna’s ‘PVC’ shooting at RFC

It is well known that Nandamuri Balakrishna is busy shooting with Dasari Narayana Rao’s latest directorial ‘Parama Veera Chakra’. He is going to romance three heroines Ameesha Patel, Sheela and bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, by repeating his sentiment of having 3 heroines in his film which are being successful. It is being produced by C Kalyan under Teja Cinema banner.

According to reliable sources the film is currently shooting at Ramoji Film City. The schedule is going on from this month 18^th and will continue till September 25^th. Action sequences are being canned now and in coming two days fight masters Ram and Lakshman will compose the action sequences involving Balakrishna, Ameesha Patel, villain Amjad Khan and 40 other fighters.

Sources say that Bala Krishna will be seen in double role – one as a powerful army officer and the other as a hero. It is heard from the latest sources that he will be seen in Ravana get up in one of the scene in the film. Inside sources say that the scene has been made by the director to fulfill Bala Krishna’s dream to portray the role of Ravana.

‘Mahesh Khaleja’ audio release date is out!

It’s going to be much fascinated and long waited news to all over Mahesh Babu fans. The audio release date of prince’s forthcoming film ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ is out. One of the film producers C Kalyan has announced that the music of the film will hit the markets on September 10^th and the film will be released by September end.

The film is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas and being produced by Singanamala Ramesh under ‘Sri Kanakarathna Movies’ banner. S Satya Ramamurthy will be presenting the film. Mani Sharma is scoring the music. Tall and beautiful actress Anushka is pairing opposite Mahesh in this film. The film has completed its entire shooting part except for one song.

Sneha to sizzle once again with Nag!

A few days back it was said that romantic king Nagarjuna has signed up a new film under the direction of veteran filmmaker S S Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad’s directorial which has been titled as ‘Rajanna’. It is also said that Nag will play the title role and the film is going to be produced under Nag’s own banner Annapoorna Studios. Now the latest news is that smiling beauty Sneha is going to will be pairing with Nagarjuna once again for this high budget film. Earlier they both acted together for a super hit film Sri Ramadasu.

Sources say that it might be a bilingual film to be made both in Tamil and Telugu as both the actors have good mark in Tamil also. It is also said that though Sneha’s role might not be a big one, sharing the screen space with top hero might gives her much weightage.

The movie is all about a girl child and her travails and how Nagarjuna helps and fulfilled her mission will be the rest of the story. It is heard from the latest sources that Rajamouli has decided to can all the action sequences of Nagarjuna in the film.

Who will be Rana’s love – Ileana or Trisha?

Earlier it was reported to our viewers that action director Puri Jagannath and ‘Leader’ hero Rana are going to join hands for a new film soon. The movie will be produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) and the shooting will commence from September.

According to latest sources, the interesting news is that slim beauty Ileana might be roped to pair opposite Rana in this film. However, Ileana is currently busy shooting for NTR’s ‘Shakti’ and will start shooting for Pawan Kalyan’s next film ‘Kushiga’ in the next month and there is also a buzz that she will be pairing with Mahesh in the remake of ‘3 Idiots’. It is heard that despite of her busy schedule, Ileana might likely to accept the film as it is expected to be produced by Suresh Productions.

This interesting news has one more twist adding more salt and pepper to it. If Ileana doesn’t accept to do this film, dusky glamorous beauty Trisha might be cast opposite Rana in the film. Already both the actresses have done one film each with director Puri Jagannath before.

Prakashraj confirms his wedding with Pony Varma!

From long time there is news going on in the tinsel town that ace actor cum producer Prakashraj is going to marry bollywood famous choreographer Pony Varma soon.

Now the new has been confirmed by Prakashraj himself by saying that that both are getting married on August 24^th and it is going to take place in Mumbai. It is also said that the marriage will be a private affair with only close relatives and friends and later on reception will be arranged for Tamil, Kannada and Telugu film industries.

While speaking to the media Prakash Raj said,” Our marriage is to take place on 24th of this month in Mumbai. After this we will be hosting parties separately for the friends in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Pony Varma is our family’s daughter in law. We will not marry clandestinely. We will be holding our marriage with the blessings of all and fans.”

Ram Charan to produce Chiranjeevi’s 150th film!

It was reported to our viewers some days back that megastar Chiranjeevi is likely to come back in films. Now clearing all the airs it is confirmed by his son Ram Charan Teja that his father is coming back to silver screen and the official announcement is likely to be made on Chiranjeevi’s birthday on August 22^nd.

On speaking about this issue, Charan said “I am excited about dad’s comeback to 70 mm. Yes, he has agreed to make a comeback. Our efforts to make him don grease paint again have paid off and the King is back! ‘Maghadeera’ was dad’s 149th film. I will be producing his 150th. We will leave no stone unturned to make it a magnum opus. Although dad’s birthday is on August 22, things will fall in place soon since as we are working for a rock solid script.”

‘Jhummandi Nadam’ completes 50 days successfully!

K.Raghavendra Rao’s directorial ‘Jhummandi Nadam’ starring Manchu Manoj and debutant Tapsi in the lead has completed its 50 days mark successfully by today.

It is produced by Lakshmi Manchu and Mohan Babu is playing a prominent role in the film. Bhupathi Raja has given the story of the film while Gopi Mohan has developed the screenplay. Melody composer Keeravani has scored the music.

While speaking at the occasion, Lakshmi Manchu says “Jhummandi Nadam is the biggest film in Manoj’s career in box office collections. The film has completed 50 days in 30 centers. Producer Dil Raju is planning to release the audio of  NTR’s much waited anticipated latest upcoming flick ‘Brindavanam’ on August 27^th and the film is expected to release in September. Young tiger Jr NTR is currently busy working simultaneously for both ‘Brindavanam’ and ‘Shakti’ which are scheduled for release in few months.

It is also said that NTR who has signed up a new films under both Srinu Vytla and Boyapati Seenu’s direction has signed up another new film under the direction of ace director Surender Reddy. Earlier, this duo has worked for ‘Ashok’.

Now the interesting buzz about the project is that the film is said to be a multi starrer one and the makers are planning to rope Manchu Manoj in the film but he has not given any confirmation from his side. The strong buzz is that he might be playing the villain role against NTR in this film.

‘Rakta Charitra’ gets its release date!

The unique director Ram Gopal Varma’s latest upcoming much waited controversial film ‘Rakta Charitra’ starring Vivek Oberoi, Surya, Priyamani in the main roles has completed its entire shooting and is gearing up for its release on September 17^th.

RGV is planning to make both Telugu and Hindi versions in two parts while the Tamil version in single part. The reason behind this is as Surya will make his appearance only towards the end of the first part of the film and hence the Tamil Version will narrate the story from his point of view. The film story is based on the real concept of TDP leader Paritala Ravi which is being played by Vivek Oberoi in the film and Surya will be seen as Maddela Cheruvu Suri and Priyamani as his wife Gangula Bhanumathi.

‘Sevakudu’ to go to Kerala and Tamil Nadu for songs

‘Robo’ theatrical rights acquired for Rs. 27 crores!

It is well known that many controversial issues have been making rounds around the Rajinikanth’s ‘Robo’ theatrical rights. The latest reports say that sensational director V.V.Vinayak’s brother Surendra, along with a popular West Godavari distributor L.V.R have acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of Shankar’s ‘Robo’ for a bidding price of Rs. 27 crores which is said to be the highest price for a dubbing film. It is also heard that an amount of around Rs. 12 crore has already been paid as an advance to the Tamil producer.

Sources say that it is the first Indian film to be made with such a huge budget of nearly Rs. 190 crores. Think Music has already bought the audio rights of the film and Sun Pictures has bought the satellite rights.

Jr NTR injured while shooting for ‘Brindavanam’!

Young tiger Jr NTR again got injured, this time while shooting for ‘Brindavanam’. Inside sources said that while performing a risky action scene in the film, he got hurted himself and was immediately rushed to KIMS hospital Secunderabad, where he got 3 stitches on head. As a result of this, the shooting for the day has been cancelled.

The unit members said that the director of the movie, Vamsi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju advised NTR to do the shot by having a dupe as it is risky one. But NTR gone a head and performed the scene on his own.

Sources said that doctors advised NTR to have a few days rest and there is no need to worry. It is also said that the shooting will again starts after 4 days as NTR will be better by that time.

Prabhas shooting in Australia for Dil Raju’s film!

It is well known that young rebel star Prabhas is busy shooting for a film which is directed by Dasarath and produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.

Prabhas, who has completed the shooting schedules in various exotic locations of Ahobilam, Hyderabad and Malaysia, is currently shooting in Australia. By finishing the schedule in Australia, the team will be back to Hyderabad on this 24^th and resumes the shooting there and then moves to next schedule to be held in Pollachi.

Sources say that though Mahesh has busy schedule of films, he agreed to do Meher Ramesh’s film. It is heard that the movie could be produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateshwara Creations. Inside sources say that currently discussions are going on about the script and it could be a novel theme. If everything goes well, the project would go on floors the early next year by pushing back all Mahesh’s films.

Currently, Meher Ramesh is busy in directing NTR for ‘Shakti’ and on the other hand, Mahesh is busy in wrapping up his ‘Mahesh Khaleja’.

Chaitanya, Aksha starrer ‘Adi Nuvve’ has completed its shooting part and is currently in its post production works.The latest news is that the audio is going to hit the music stands on August 18^th.

Adi Nuvve is being directed by Varaprasad Neelam and is being produced by K.Srikanth. The movie is all about the story of a youngster who’s madly in love with a girl and how he wins her is the crux of the story does. Charan shooting for ‘Orange’ in Hyderabad from today!

Ram Charan Teja starrer most happening forthcoming flick ‘Orange’ has completed all its schedules in Australia, Malaysia and currently shooting in Hyderabad which is started today and continues for the next week. Few important scenes on hero and heroine will be shot in and around locations of Hyderabad.

The film is directed by ‘Bommarillu’ fame Bhaskar and produced by Naga Babu under Anjana Productions. Aditya Music has bagged the audio rights of the film for a huge amount. Harris Jayraj has scored the music for the film. Beautiful actresses Genelia and Shazahn Padamsee will be playing the female lead opposite Charan. The audio release is likely to be held on August 22^nd on coinciding with the birthday of Mega star Chiranjeevi and the film is expected to release by September.

Rana under Puri Jagannath’s direction!

We are going to report you the interesting news that action director Puri Jagannath and ‘Leader’ hero Rana are going to join hands for a new film soon.

Though some of the news makes rounds that Rana will be acting under Surender Reddy’s direction, the confirmed news is that he is going to do Puri’s film.

The movie is to be produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) for Lakshmi Narasimha Productions and the shooting will commence from September. As said before his bi-lingual with Selva Raghavan was put off, this film will be Rana’s second film in Telugu. Stay tuned for more updates on this film.

Uday Kiran’s ‘Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta’ shooting from Aug 12th!

Uday Kiran, Swetha Basu Prasad starrer ‘Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta’ is in its final leg of its shooting and is progressing at brisk pace.

Udaykiran of UK Avenues said, “This movie will bring us the pride. This is a romantic entertainer blend with emotional family drama. The climax is the highlight. Uday Kiran and Swetha Basu make a cute pair. There are altogether 6 songs of which one is a remix number. We are planning to shoot two songs from August 12 onwards. The audio launch will take place shortly.”

Sri Venkateshwara Swamy films banner is presenting the movie and D.Kumar and Eswhar Vara prasad are producing the movie and Subha Selvam, a Tamil director is directing the film. Pradeep Koneru is scoring the music for the film.

‘Maryada Ramanna’ cycle to be auctioned!

The recent tollywood trend of auctioning the weapons used by the heroes in the films looks like have slight change. The trend was started with ‘Magadheera’ in which the sword and shield used by Ramcharan were auctioned and ends with latest ‘Simha’ in which Bala Krishna’s axe was auctioned. And now it looks like the properties of the heroes are going to be auctioned. It is heard that comedian turned Sunil’s cycle which he had used in ‘Maryada Ramanna’ will be auctioned soon for good cause.

The auction will be held on August 14^th at Annapurna Studios. Regarding this, the film director Rajamouli tweeted, “We are auctioning Maryada Ramanna cycle on 14th August at Annapurna Studios at 4.00 PM. whatever amount the cycle goes for, the producers and I will triple it and donate the total amount to Devnar School for the blind. All are welcome.”

Rajendra Prasad – Suhasini flick titled ‘Bhale Pellam Bhale Mogudu’

It is well known that yesteryear great actors Rajendra Prasad and Suhasini are going to act together for the first time in tollywood in a film to be directed by Dinesh Babu and produced by Jonnada Ramamurthy for Usha Charan Creations. Earlier it was reported that the film has been titled as ‘Mogudu Pellala Pelli’ but the news from the latest sources have confirmed that it is titled as ‘Bhale Pellam Bhale Mogudu’.

The director says that the film has given the title that not only suits the storyline but also suits Raendra Prasad’s movie which is known for crazy and funny titles. It is a remake of the Kannada hit ‘Eradaneya Maduve’.

The film will be completely a family cum comedy entertainer in which Rajendra Prasad plays an Income Tax officer and Suhasini plays Bank officer.It has completed its entire shooting part and currently undergoing its dubbing and post production works at fast pace.

Other supporting actors in the film include Naresh, Raghubabu, Jhansi, Kaveri Jha, Harshavardhan, Rajitha, Shilpa etc.

Sources say that as it is for the first time they both are acting together in the career of more than twenty years, all eyes are surely on this pair. It is expected to release very shortly.

Rajini’s ‘Robo’ rights in controversy!

Yesterday it is said that producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao has acquired Rajinikanth’s Robo’ dubbing rights for highest price of Rs 30 crores that was ever happened for any movie in India. It is also heard that he is going to release the movie in AP through his Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films banner.

But now, with the statement made by Sun TV pictures CEO Hansaraj Saxena yesterday as that Robo rights are unsold, there created terror amongst Chadalavada Srinivas Rao who said to be acquired the rights.

On reacting to this statement, he has showed a proof of letter that was given by Sun Pictures itself by mentioning that he paid Rs. 2 crores as advance for getting Robo dubbing rights. Sumanth, Swathi flick titled ‘Golconda High School’!

Sumanth, Swathi’s new flick under the direction of Mohana Krishna Indraganti is said to be titled as ‘Jaagore’. But now the latest news is that the film has been renamed as ‘Golconda High School’. Mohana Krishna Indraganti had earlier directed ‘Ashta Chemma’ film with Nani and Swathi in the lead roles.

This new film with Sumanth and Swathi is said to be inspired from a book ‘The Men Within’ which was written by Hari Mohan. The book is first Indian novel on cricket.

The film is expected to release in the month of September.The film has Ravinder as art director; Senthil who handled cinematography for ‘Magadheera’ will handle for this flick too. ‘Thakita Thakita’ audio launched yesterday!

The audio of ‘Thakita Thakita’ a new film under the direction of Srihari Nanu was launched in a grand yet simple way at Taj Deccan yesterday. The film is presented by Bhumika Chawla and produced by Bharat Thakur under the banner, ‘Downtown Films’ banner.

The event was attended by Anushka and writer Kona Venkat, along with the producers of the film Bhumika Chawla and Bharath Thakur. Bharat Thakur says that the actors were selected from 7 different zones across the country and were offered proper training in acting for about 6 months. ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ to have songs shoots from Aug 18th

Prince Mahesh Babu who has celebrated his birthday yesterday in a grand manner is back to his regular shooting. It is well known that his fans are eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ which was on the sets for long time and getting delayed its release date. The latest news is that the film has completed its entire shooting part except for two songs. It is heard that the two songs will start its picturization from 18^th of this month and will complete by this month end.

The film is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas and being produced by Singanamala Ramesh under ‘Sri Kanakarathna Movies’ banner. The movie makers are planning to release the audio by this month end and the film by September.

‘‘Komaram Puli’ is enough for my life’; says SJ Surya

The director SJ Surya who became popular with Pawan Kalyan’s latest film ‘Komaram Puli’ was thrilled and emotional heartbreaking after working for two years for the film.

Having a pause of relief, the director said “After seeing the rushes of Komaram Puli, I feel like saying that my 2 years hard work yield dividends. Komaram Puli is in the final stages of post-production, and we are planning to announce the release sate shortly”.

He further said “Komaram Puli is enough for my life. I’m contemplating quitting direction after Komaram Puli release since I cannot make another movie of the same standards in my lifetime.”

The year 2009, 57^th Idea Filmfare Awards for South were announced on Saturday night, Aug 7, 2010 in Chennai.The awards were announced in various categories and were awarded for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.

In Tollywood, successful director Rajamouli’s sensational blockbuster record making film ‘Magadheera’ starring Ram Charan Teja and Kajal in the lead has bagged six awards for the Best Film, Best Actor for Ram Charan, Best Director for Rajamouli, Best Cinematography for Senthil Kumar, Best Music for M M Keeravani and best male playback singer for Anuj Guruwara. NTR’s ‘Shakti’ in Hyderabad from Aug 27th!

Jr NTR’s ‘Shakti’ team after completing the hectic North India shooting schedule in locations like Ladakh, Kulu Manali, Haridwar, etc. is back to Hyderabad and will resumes its shooting from August 27^th. Important scenes and songs on NTR and Ileana were shot in those beautiful out locations. In the mean time, NTR is back to the shooting of another latest film ‘Brindavanam’ directed by Vamsi Paidipally.

Shakti is directed by Meher Ramesh of ‘Kantri’ and ‘Billa’ fame and produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. He said that his banner has not produced any Telugu movie in their past 35 years as lavishly as NTR’s ‘Shakti’. He further said that Shakti will be a milestone in NTR’s film career.
