Jr. NTR’s Shakti is directed by Meher Ramesh of ‘Kantri’ and ‘Billa’ fame and produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. The movie will be released in summer 2011 in the month of April. We knew from the sources that the unit is planning to release Shakhi on April 1st 2011. NTR is too busy working for this movie; reportedly this is the first Telugu movie to have a number of shooting locations in abroad, both for songs and talkie part. Illeana is starring opposite NTR in this movie. Bollywood figures Jackie Shroff, Pooja Bedi and Sonu Sood are doing important roles in this moviei.
Ashwini Dutt is much confident about the film and he earlier said that Shakti is going to be a trend setter in industry. He further said that Mani Sharma (music) and Sameer Reddy (favourite cinematographer of NTR) are the biggest assets of the film.
