After Mohan Babu and Allu Arjun, it was the turn of Super Star Mahesh Babu to bear the brunt of Telangana activists on Thursday.
At Girgatipally near Vikarabad, where the shooting of the super star's movie was underway, Telangana agitators indulged in wanton destruction of property. Khiladi stars actor Mahesh Babu as the lead.
In Dilsukhnagar, the director of the movie, Trivikram Srinivas, was under assault – his vehicle was being attacked.
Pawan Kalyan’s farmhouse at Dhanwada in Shankarapally was also attacked today.
Enraged Telangana workers, protesting against the Centre’s volte face on Telangana state formation, attacked the film set of Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming film being shot at Anantagiri hills near Vikarabad in Ranga Reddy district. The film is being made by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Singanamala Rameshbabu under the banner of Kanakaratna Movies. Anushka is pairing up with Mahesh Babu as heroine.
The agitators set on fire a special set erected exclusively for the film, damaged cameras, lighting equipment and vehicles. The agitators left the place after causing a damage of more than Rs 2 crore. Though Mahesh Babu has not uttered a word against Telangana, the agitators attacked him on the pretext that he is from coastal Andhra.
